Solar Bollard Lighting is helping to solve the challenges of accelerating climate driven flooding events with the world’s only IP68 submersible solar bollard light. Flooding has become the world’s foremost climate hazard, according to experts.

Devastating floods often destroy vital infrastructure, such as public lighting. During two recent floods at Buchan Caves Reserve in Australia, seventy-two SBL2 Series solar lights installed along a flood plain were fully submerged under 6m of water for days.

Parks Victoria Ranger Jordan Gardiner who was on location to experience these flooding events firsthand, praised the SBL2 series saying,

‘The (Solar Bollard) Lights down the river flat are working amazingly; two floods have fully submerged them, and they are still all good. I’d definitely recommend these lights for high-risk environments.

Located in some of the harshest environments around the world, the SBL2 series has proven more than capable of performing in the worst climate change events.
