Heron’s Head Park – San Francisco

Heron’s Head Park is a 22-acre public park in San Francisco, California; maintained by the San Francisco Port Authority. The name of the park comes from its shape – seen from above, the park looks like the head of a Great Blue Heron.

Much of the park is a thriving wildlife habitat and attracts more than one hundred bird species.

The SBL2 Series solar bollard light met all the criteria with a 10-year warranty, unmatched reliability, and IK10 vandal-resistance for a green energy lighting solution for the walkways and paths around the playground and park, which was essential for security.

Albany Bahamas

Albany is a 600-acre oceanside luxury resort community located on the beautiful island of New Providence in The Bahamas providing the enjoy the pleasures of island life.

Albany Estate in the Bahamas is owned by a group including British billionaire Joe Lewis and his investment organization, Tavistock Group, along with golfing legends Tiger Woods and Ernie Els, and actor and musician Justin Timberlake.

The SBL2 Series was the practical eco-friendly lighting solution for for the main roadway throughout the gated community.

Buffalo Harbor State Park Trail

Buffalo Harbor State Park is a scenic waterfront destination right on the shores of Lake Erie. It’s the first state park within the city of Buffalo, offering a wide range of recreational activities and amenities.

Buffalo Harbor State Park Trail transforms into a winter landscape, with cold temperatures, snow, and ice-covered lake. In December 2022 a monster blizzard devastated Western New York.

The SBL2 Series IP68 solar light was buried in 7 feet of ice and snow proving its durability as it continued operational throughout the event.

Charlotte – North Carolina

Axis at the Park (formally Elan Research Park) it sits across from the University of North Carolina (UNC) and at the footsteps of Research Park, which has 11 million square feet of office space.

Project architect, KB Souring selected the SBL2 Series solar bollard lights as the property rests alongside a vibrant wooded area that feels secluded and allows residents to connect with nature.

A carefully crafted lighting plan ensured all footpaths and walkways were well-lit, providing security for the residents with constant and reliable community lighting from dusk to dawn.

Ocean Front Residence – Bahamas

The Bahamas is an archipelago of nearly 700 coral islands, and sits in the West Atlantic Ocean, and the islands are generally flat and low-lying.

With direct exposure to the ocean being a beach front residence the mandate required durability and resistance to withstand Cat 5 wind speeds and monster waves during a hurricane.

The SBL2 Series solar bollard light met all the criteria with a 10-year warranty, unmatched reliability, IP68 submersible, and IK10 vandal-resistance, to ensure constant lighting for personal security.

Minera Los Pelambres – Chile

Minera Los Pelambres is located in the province of Choapa, Coquimbo Region. The company is one of the largest copper producers in Chile. 

Minera Los Pelambres is part of Antofagasta Minerals, Chile’s leading private mining group who are among the top five copper producers in the country.

The SBL2 Series solar bollard light met all the criteria with unmatched durability and reliability due to the remote location which required consistent light for the emergency meeting point.

Lyford Cay House – Bahamas

The Lyford Cay House corporate offices on Lyford Drive in Nassau, Bahamas, are part of the history of the Lyford Cay development, which was founded in the 1950s by Canadian entrepreneur E. P. Taylor. 

Lyford Cay is a private gated community located on the western tip of New Providence Island. Construction began in November 1956 with acres of thick marsh being miraculously transformed.

The SBL2 Series solar bollard light met all the criteria for lighting sustainably the driveway and parking are which was essential for constant grounds security.

Fort Rodney – St Lucia Caribbean

Installing lights in locations such as Pigeon Island in the eastern Caribbean island of St Lucia at Fort Rondey required no disruption to the natural environment.

The easy-to-install SBL2 Series solar bollard light works independently and requires no trenches for power lines, which means trees and plants do not need to be removed.

The hundred per cent renewable and recyclable SBL2 Series is ideal for community lighting. It has a vandal-resistant IK10 rating and is the only solar bollard light on the market with a 10-year product and performance warranty.

City of Duluth – Minnesota

Community lighting along the shoreline of Lake Superior, in the port City of Duluth, required a robust lighting solution.

In winter, America’s largest lake freezes over, and temperatures can drop to more than -15oC. The SBL2 Series SR dual-head solar bollard light was the ideal choice for this location as they wanted a Dark Sky compliant light that limited light pollution and 100% renewable energy powered close to the water line.

With only 8.5 hours of daylight in winter, the low-light and fast-charge SBL 2 series solar bollard lights, maintain full power under snow and ice throughout the longest winter nights.
