Quayside Isle – Sentosa Cove

Quayside Isle – Sentosa Cove is located in the exclusive Sentosa Cove next to the luxurious W Singapore – Sentosa Cove (hotel) and is the first and only dining and retail destination within the luxury waterfront precinct.

With high profile installations already such as the Singapore Sports Hub and Sentosa Island itself, the SBL2 Series solar bollard light was the only option for a high-quality finish with proven reliability, durability and offer a long-life cycle.

Quayside Isle is set to be the Capri of Southeast Asia, and only a superior finished solar bollard light would suffice.

Hong Kong Airport

When the Hong Kong Airport Authority was looking at lighting solutions for the airport precinct, they searched China, Asia, and the world. With particular requirements for a commercial-grade product, the SBL2 Series solar bollard light was selected to light the airport’s pathways.

Hong Kong Airport is located on reclaimed ocean land and is prone to cyclones, heavy storm activity, and severe rain events during the wet season. The SBL2 Series solar bollard light is the world’s only IP68 submersible solar bollard light, ideally suited to Hong Kong’s weather.

Singapore Sports Hub

The Singapore Sports Hub is a 35-hectare sports and recreation district in Kallang, Singapore. Featuring the world’s largest free-spanning dome, a retractable roof and comfort cooling technology hit this hot and monsoonal climate region.

The SBL2 Series solar bollard light was selected out of a list of trialled solar lighting products to illuminate the paths around the complex because it met the sports hub’s 100% renewable energy requirements for pathways in full sun, half sun, and full shade. The SBL2 Series is designed for low-light environments, meaning it will stay at full illumination all night.

Nesta Resort – Japan

Nesta Resort in Miki City is Japan’s first large-scale natural adventure theme park. Spanning approximately 2.3 million m², the vast grounds feature over 30 types of activities including accommodation facilities and a natural hot spring surrounded by nature.

They required 100% renewable energy powered lighting that also had a sustainable long-life cycle to be utilised without disturbing the natural environment for trenching to lay power cables.

Solar bollard lighting was the only high-quality finish option chosen to illuminate, pathways, accommodation areas, carpark access areas, around the resort facilities

Sentosa Island

Sentosa is an island resort off Singapore’s southern coast, connected to the city by road, cable car, pedestrian boardwalk and monorail. Famous for being a holiday getaway with world-class attractions: Universal Studios Singapore, S.E.A. Aquarium, Adventure Cove Waterpark.

The SBL2 Series solar bollard light was selected to illuminate pathways as they are 100% renewable energy powered, a high-quality finish with proven reliability, durability and offer a long-life cycle.

Light placements included full sun, half sun, and full shade. The SBL2 series is designed for low-light environments, meaning it will stay at full illumination all night, even in full shade.

Ngong Ping 360 Skyrail – Hong Kong

MTR Corporation required solar powered lighting solutions for the Ngong Ping Cable Car that connects downtown Tung Chung and Ngong Ping on Lantau Island where the Big Buddha is located.

With particular requirements for a commercial-grade product, the SBL2 Series solar bollard light was selected to light the pathways, and stairways leading up to the Airport Island Station.

Hong Kong is prone to typhoons, heavy storm activity, and severe rain events during the wet season. The SBL2 Series solar bollard light is ideally suited to Hong Kong’s monsoonal weather.
