A huge congratulations to JHA Consulting Engineers for recently winning the IESANZ Award – QLD Chapter for Lighting Design at the IESANZ – The Lighting Society Lighting Awards.

Lighting the outback in Australia takes a rugged and durable lighting product that can withstand some of the worlds harshest climates.

SBL2 Series solar lights were installed to safely guide guests along the 200m of public paths to Cunnamulla Hot Springs centre’s entry. Cunnamulla Hot Springs is a natural hot springs and wellness destination in outback Queensland, with the lighting installation attracting significant attention and received a lighting design award from IESANZ – The Lighting Society.

The IESANZ aims to advance the art and science of illumination and dissemination of knowledge to engineers, architects, educators, manufacturers, and designers. The judges acknowledged the Cunnamulla Hot Springs external lighting installation incorporated subtle, intuitive exterior lighting, complementing an immersive experience in an iconic Australian landscape.
