Typhoon Mawar – Guam
The Australian Made SBL2 Series solar lights placed in Talo Verde Estates were put to the test in 2023 when the deadliest Super Typhoon in 20 years Mawar, ripped across the US island of Guam, with gusts exceeding 160 mph.
The SBL2 Series maintained the estate pathways lit when the mains power went out and withstood all projectile impacts from flying debris, which was affecting everything in their path.
Smart by design and powered by nature, the 2 Series range of solar lights will continue lighting the way after these natural disasters have subsided and increasing the capabilities of emergency services teams to get to the people in need.
Reliability and durability are paramount for lighting public places and infrastructure, and with climate-driven challenges accelerating, Solar Bollard Lighting solar lights, continue to set the benchmark for rugged durability, reliability, submersion capabilities, and high impact resistance. The 2 Series range of solar bollard lights will continue to shine even when fully submersed under water.
